JOB TITLE:  Merchandising Operations Specialist for General Trade (GT)

JOB LOCATION: Unilever RFM Ice Cream Office, Manggahan Industrial Park, Manggahan, Pasig City

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The core of this position is handling the full-cycle merchandising program operations for channel-led below-the-line campaigns and activations. This role is critical especially for a highly-competitive category such as Ice Cream.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Merchandising Planning:

  • Design Creation: co-leads design adaptation, with the respective Channel Partner, for Selecta’s key visuals that will communicate desired product or messages. Designs may be used in various point-of-sale merchandising including menuboard, backboards, digital assets, and etc.
  • Materials Management: leads in ensuring longevity and sustainability of planned merchandising materials, in coordination with the procurement teams and Selecta-accredited suppliers.
  • Budgets Management: leads in budget raising to ensure that all handled projects are well-financed prior execution.
  • Store Nomination: complements the Channel Partner in securing the detailed merchandising concurrence per customer group (including ship-to-point details, materials quantity per door, among others).
  • Project Management: governs all owned merchandising projects via consistent and organized monitoring and reporting to the stakeholders, and proactively leads in schedule adjustments as the need arise.

Merchandising Deployment

  • Procurement Coordination: leads in cost estimate bidding request of materials, deployment and related miscellaneous items; raising of purchase orders for approval and materials mock-up development and color proofing.
  • Internal Cascades: leads in merchandising installation guidelines cascade, training, drafting and sending out execution notice to all related stakeholders.
  • Deployment & Installation: leads in materials deployment from supplier to warehouse, to our partner agencies, down to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience Trade Marketing or Channel Activation Operations
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Self-starter and agile mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment
  • Very collaborative and can manage several diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Organized project management skills is a must
  • Eye for visual design
