Job Title: Strategy Analyst - Prestige
Location: 100VE, London

Reporting to: Prestige Strategy Director

Founded in 2015 as a stand-alone global business unit (GBU), Unilever Prestige is now a leading global luxury beauty company and a powerhouse hub within Unilever. Having achieved €1.6bn turnover in 2024 through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Prestige has aggressive growth ambitions for the future.

Unilever Prestige comprises of a portfolio of nine distinctive, authentic brands that are powered by unique social and planet missions.

Unilever Prestige’s decentralised ‘House of Companies’ operating model has a small, high performance, agile, core central team at the heart of it. This includes the Strategy team, which the Strategy Manager is a part of, based in London. Reporting to the Strategy Director; this role will be support the next phase of the division’s cross-brand portfolio growth strategy, driving profitable sustainable growth, whilst protecting the integrity and DNA of the brands within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of annual strategic planning process, partnering with Central Prestige and Companies leaders to identify growth opportunities for the portfolio.

  • Track implementation of strategic initiatives, monitoring key milestones, identifying risks and working closely with Company leaders to proactively address and mitigate them..

  • Support cross-brand projects, providing strategic direction and analytical support.

  • Provide support to ad-hoc demands including external benchmarking, Corporate Unilever visits, ULE onboarding, etc.

What you will bring

  • Externally oriented, connected to market trends, competitors moves and external factor impacting the business.

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with uncertainty and complex landscape.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into simple visuals.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and modelling. Data-driven mindset with attention to details.

  • Ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders, including people at all levels in an organization

  • Track record of successfully executing large projects

  • Proactive and curious, with a strong desire to learn.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record; Advanced degree or MBA is preferred.

  • Business Analysis Graduate (or similar) with proven work experience in a relevant area.

  • Proven expertise in beauty & cosmetics industries or a fast-paced consumer-oriented industry.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Location

In June 2020 we announced our plan to consolidate a number of Unilever’s offices across the South East of England into a new Unilever campus in Kingston-upon-Thames in or around early 2025. However, on the 08 August 2024 we announced to our existing staff our proposal to retain our central Head Office in London, 100 Victoria Embankment (“100VE”) until our lease expires in 2027. As a result of this new proposal, we will be consulting with our existing staff, and new joiners who join during this period of consultation at 100VE, on the proposal made in August 2024. During consultation we will clarify the future location of each team and function. This means your role will either be based in 100VE until 2027 or in Kingston-Upon-Thames from early 2025. As we are yet to commence consultation on the proposal you agree, until such a time when consultation has concluded, your normal place of work as set out in the enclosed Statement of Terms & Conditions will be 100VE. You agree that on the conclusion of the consultation your place of work will be 100VE or 100VE until early 2025 and then Kingston-upon-Thames ("the locations") and you will be notified of which of the locations will be your place of work after that consultation ends.
