Job Title: Global Assistant Brand Development Manager - Home Care

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Senior Assistant Brand Manager to help build & execute our brand positioning & brandverse – driving real culture that converts at scale. This is an important role with docking responsibility into key markets and requires a creative mind, strong partnering skills, excellent project management and proven experience of engagement activities that have landed in the market. You will be partnering with our IPG agencies, key markets, Mindshare & the digital teams – ensuring best in class execution, supporting star story creation & adaption. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the creation of Star Stories and manage related projects to showcase brand success

  • Support on comms asset creation with our global agencies 

  • Collaborate with adapt agencies to deliver high-quality, locally relevant creative assets

  • Partner with key markets to ensure consistent brand execution and alignment with global strategy

  • Own the delivery and upkeep of all brand essentials, including Brandverse toolkits, brand books, 

  • Monitor UBS performance and support the development and follow-up of action plans

  • Work closely with markets to shape engagement plans that prioritise innovation and reflect brand objectives

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Prior experience in Brand Development 

  • Experience working with agency networks (local or global) 

  • A keen interest & understanding of digital media landscape 

  • Experience in managing relationships with cross functional partners and markets.

  • A strong track record of timely project delivery·

  • A strong team player with passion for growth.

  • Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with the wider brand team and local teams.

Location

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.

What can I do?
