JOB PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• First point of contact for customs brokers for all matters

• Check and control customs declarations and tax assessments from a legal and compliance perspective (audit proof) 

• Supporting customs audits  

• Controlling & reporting for duties & taxes

• Setting up customs instructions for customs brokers, SU/DC and logistics 

• Coordination, supervision, and support of customs related projects as indirect customs representative of UEBV 

• Deliver customs trainings and customs advises to the business

• Assure European customs reporting 

• Manage ways of working with the 3PL, different Unilever departments and other non-Unilever parties involved in new product launches (export process description, flow of information, split of responsibilities, golden rules etc.).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge and expertise in customs procedures (import, export, declaration, bonded warehouses etc.) 

• Local and international customs & tax law knowledge

• MS office (Excel, Power Point)

• Experience in working on customs affairs, indirect tax, export and import operations in international organization  

• Fluent English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in supply chain, supply management, logistics, planning or procurement 

• Organizational awareness and planning own job
