JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to drive the Procurement Strategy supporting the ambient network transformation programme. Delivering cost, cash, sustainability through supplier selection, tendering, partnership and contracting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will report to Procurement Project Manager. You are expected to deliver the Ambient Network Transformation through World Class service, Competitive Cost and Sustainable sourcing by:

  • Sourcing Strategy development, Negotiation preparation and execution, Contracting through Logistics Sourcing Excellence, Gold Standard Contracting and tender strategies in line with the 7 sourcing steps,

  • Develop & support delivery of the Procurement Strategy for the ambient network transformation,

  • Subject-matter-expertise in logistics and derives value creation opportunities based on a deep Logistics expertise of market conditions and future market trends, Macro/micro economic impacts, Supplier pools, Competitor and Industry Insights, as well as benchmarking and cost modelling,

  • Multi- region strategic partnership program & roadmap leveraging the power of one to unlock value for all parties across multiple geographies & years,

  • Business case development and enrichment,

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain roles either in Unilever / FMCG industry or within the logistics sector,

  • Logistics Procurement knowledge,

  • Master degree

  • Strong negotiation skills (commercial and contractual),

  • High proficiency in MS Excel

  • Fluent English

  • Familiarity with 3PL activity-based cost modelling and contracting strategies, planning and digital,

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in land transformation projects

  • Experience in conducting long negotiations

  • Ability and drive to work independently and influence diverse teams, across different countries
