If you are a passionate Regulatory Affairs expert with ambition to ensure data-supported, science- and risk-based regulatory positions and enable impactful, compliant innovations that drive growth in Middle East and NALI (North Africa, Levant, Iraq) within the METSA (Middle East, Turkey, South Asia) Ice Cream Regulatory team end to end, then this role is just for you.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance

• Ensure products, processes, and claims comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations.
• Monitor updates on regulatory changes, assess their impact, and ensure compliance.
• Drive digitalization and manage regulatory documentation and applications.
• Support responses to compliance challenges from authorities.

Innovation

• Be first point of contact and expert of local regulatory requirements.
• Support the regulatory strategy and guide for innovation projects.
• Provide regulatory input to innovation and renovation projects to ensure on time in full delivery.
• Support collaboration with Legal, RD&I, and other functions to ensure regulatory alignment.

We seek individuals with the right attitude, mindset, and competencies to deliver regulatory compliance in Middle East & NALI. You should be able to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams and adapt to a fast-changing business environment.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• 1 - 3 years of experience in related field preferably within a FMCG environment with expertise in related legislations, ideally in foods and beverages
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English
• Attention to details, result-oriented and strategical thinking
• Proven track record in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions as well as 3rd parties in support of the innovation program
