JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Ice Cream Customer Business Manager and the broader teamThe Sales Analyst is responsible for providing proactive analysis of the current business, which includes promotional, every day and future-faced reporting. The position will require time management skills, a strong work ethic, and bias for action. The person is responsible for weekly reporting and analysis along with monthly performance communications.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will require skills in analysis, project management and proficiency in Microsoft Office with exceptional Excel skills. The Sales Analyst is expected to quickly become proficient in data systems such as IRI/Circana, Numerator, and retailer specific platforms. The Sales analyst is responsible for weekly analysis and reporting of sales trends, shopper analysis, competitive activity and creating actionable insights from the analysis of these trends. The Sales Analyst is expected to regularly meet customer deadlines for monthly sales plan submissions and other ad hoc requests.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

  • Must have a growth mindset and a passion for winning.

  • Prior experience in the CPG industry is preferred.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, internally and externally.

  • Must be detail orientedthat works effectively in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.

  • Must be fully proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI and other applications a plus

  • Prior working knowledge of POS reporting systems preferred (Nielsen, IRI/Circana, Customer-Specific) and Sales Planning Systems.

  • An undergraduate degree is required.

  • You’re an effective communicator: The position will require timely communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate doesn’t just present the problem, they have connected the dots on several different solutions and where possible is empowered to make decisions on their own.

Pay: The pay range for this position is 67,000 to $100,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.  

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.  

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
