Job Purpose
The position will hold the responsibility for Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) Procurement in Beauty & Wellbeing Category directly responsible for Directed Buying & Forecasting lead for Greater Asia (GA). The primary objective is to ensure smooth flow of Procurement activities in Directed buy of Raw & Packaging Materials in CMs ensuring superior service and supporting superior product through driving Innovation, resilience, savings & forecasting programs, maintaining right Quality in line with Unilever sustainable sourcing program for CM. The role will also act as the overall forecasting contact for Greater Asia. The role reports to Procurement Manager – B&W SEA.
Main Responsibilities
Buying Competitiveness: Responsible for Directed Buy for CMs for Raw & Pack materials including direct Negotiation of packaging Materials, Market buying & unique Raw materials negotiations for CMs.
Forecasting Lead: Responsible for end-to-end Procurement forecasting process for CMs for local and global B&W and ensure the cost assumptions are reflected in line with Inhouse and Market Inflation assumptions. Act as the Key point of contact for overall forecast consolidation for GA
Manage Cost and Service of Contract Manufacturing portfolio by effective assessment of commercial terms & system management of operational contracts.
Responsible for Quarterly Transfer Pricing process
Lead CM Product logic initiatives along with CMs and R&D, marketing functions
Lead CM related Innovations Network Management of Local Jewels & Market driven Networks
Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
Supply Chain/ Business Management / Finance Degre.
Any related Supply Chain / Procurement Qualification Finance / Management accounting qualification
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in procurement preferably in FMCG
Skill
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Experience in spreadsheet, database, and statistical analysis; analytical and interpretive skills to recognize, comprehend and assess data, complex issues, and industry information. Demonstrated experience in pushing the edge in the use of technology to improve results.
Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated conflict resolution skills; ability to identify, assess and mitigate risk. change management skills promote a shared vision and inspires others to embrace new opportunities; and understanding of procurement governance, processes, and policies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
