With 36 Ice Cream factories across the globe, we produce 3.5 million litons of ice cream each year and employ more than 8,200 joymakers. We have 35 brands, including 3 one billion Euro brands (Magnum, Wall’s, Ben & Jerry’s), in over 60 countries. JOB PURPOSE

You are passionate about the out of home (away from home) industry & love eating Ice Creams? You have strong commercial skills to manage customer relations and grow the ice cream business? You are not afraid to deep dive into the numbers and make profitable yet attractive offers for (new) customers? Do not hesitate to grab this exciting opportunity because the Out Of Home Ice Cream Team is looking for a new Key Account Officer Leisure, Cinema, Clusters & Petrol.

The Out of Home business excels thanks to very strong brands, strong marketing support and an experienced sales team. The brands we have in our portfolio are Magnum, Ola, Ben & Jerry’s & Carte d’Or. We hold a market leader position in all channels in which we operate.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

The role is excisting as it is twofolded:

  • Maintain strong relationships with current customers and grow them: national chains of cinemas, leisure parcs, cluster customers and petrol

  • Prospect & further develop the Ice Cream portfolio as an account manager within Belux

This unique combination entails a wide range of different responsibilities:

  • Account management of existing national accounts:

    • Negotiations

    • Customer P&L management,

    • Creation & flawless execution of promotion & activation plan: activate our brands to create maximum visibility & experience in a way that is win-win for us & the customer.

    • Ownership customer promotional/B&MI budget

    • Accurate sales forecasting

  • Develop and deliver a win-win Customer Strategy and Customer Business Plan through the best integration of the Ice Cream strategy, the customer strategy, and the category strategy.

  • Active prospection of new national accounts

  • Identify & unlock new opportunities together with the customers 

  • Develop and manage strong network with customers and organizations

  • Act as active ambassador of Ice Cream at the customer and of the customer internally

  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales Lead to develop and align on the Key Accounts Strategy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in FMCG

  • A can-do mentality and true teamplayer, cultivating a culture of entrepreneurship and inclusiveness.

  • An energetic individual with proven negotiation experiences and a holistic set of sales skills, with as much passion for strategy as execution and financials.

  • A flexible brain to switch easily between strategy and executing the needed operational tasks to put the plan into place. Planning skills, good organization and fast decision taking required.

  • A commercial business mind-set, experience of understanding a P&L & ability to make clear decisions and collaborate with various stakeholders across different functions (internally and externally)

  • Experience in Sales and customer relationship. Experience in the OOH world is a strong plus

  • Fluency in Dutch, French & English
