POSITION PURPOSE

The Country HR OPS will work onsite at the office, with occasional visits to the factory / office to support local employees in the market. This role is responsible for providing onsite local support to various functions. Additionally, the role will support the regional HUB for payroll and interact with payroll and benefits vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support any compensation or benefits changes as required, ensuring provision to the payroll SME HUB for inclusion in payroll requirements.

  • Work with local payroll and benefits vendors, manage pension files, and handle ad hoc benefits for the country.

  • Support AON/or any defined benefits provider on benefits changes for local markets.

  • Collect data from Time & Attendance systems (if not integrated).

  • Execute Workday changes and interact with country business managers and country BPS.

  • Provide payroll audit data via ServiceNow to the Payroll HUB team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have strong data & payroll management expertise, particularly in a multi-country context. They should excel in implementing and optimizing payroll systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Effective collaboration with HRBPs, Finance, and IT teams is crucial. The candidate should possessgood analytical skills for validating payroll data and generating accurate reports. Strong project management abilities and technical proficiency in payroll software are essential. Integrity and attention to detail are key to ensuring fairness in payroll practices across different countries.

  • English / Spanish

  • Payroll understanding: Expertise in managing payroll processes across country.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and validate payroll data accurately.

  • Project Management: Strong skills in leading payroll-related projects and managing change processes.

  • Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT teams.

  • Attention to Detail: High levels of integrity and precision in payroll practices.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR Operations: Experience managing data operations within the Americas region, including compliance with local regulations.

  • System Implementation: Experience in developing and implementing payroll systems, including data migration and integration.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong background in analyzing data, generating reports, and providing insights to support decision-making and compliance.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as SAP, Workday, or ADP.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, parallel runs, and go-live activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of data compliance requirements, benefits administration, and reporting standards.

  • Team Leadership: Collaboration for finding the best solution is crucial

  • Change Management: Ability to manage change efforts, including communicating effectively and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Crisis Management: Proven ability to manage and resolve payroll-related crises, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining employee trust and satisfaction.
