Business Context & Main Purpose Of The Job
The Personal Care Philippines Assistant Finance Business Partner will work with cross functional team within the BU to deliver in year performance (S&OP, Financial Forecast, pricing, Financial planning) and assist PC PH FBP Lead in maintaining finance operation, crafting short and long term financial plan that is winning and competitive. This person will support in delivering investment strategy, innovations, savings, cost improvements and other strategic business discussion
Key Responsibilities
BU performance management:
1. Performance manage BU through:
- Ensuring a solid financial forecast
- Insightful performance management reports and scorecards
- Performance interventions to achieve BU’s intended strategic planning shape (e.g. identify risks/opportunities, develop corrective actions for gap closing…)
2. Support BU in budget management: BMI and TTS
3. Support business with key analysis to drive performance such as pricing review, investment principles/allocation and hot cell analytics.
4 Support innovation process by delivering business cases driving value creating innovations as part of IPM process.
Strategic planning:
· Support with annual strategic planning (IOP) process
· Support with building short & long-term ambition
Projects/ad-hoc business requests:
· Support with Business Model development for new segments
· Support with ad-hoc requests for business engagement with regional teams
· Be a topic champion for specific individual topics like Innovation Business Case, ensure on-going standardization and quality improvement
Relevant Experience & Key Skills Required
· Business acumen
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information
· High degree of flexibility to be agile on different scopes depending on business priority
· Strong partnership skills to collaborate and drive actions in BU
· Effective communicator
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree which major in Corporate Finance, Finance & Accounting, International Finance or Economics.
· At least 2 years working experience in relevant industries (FMCG; F&B; retails…)
