Job Context & Purpose

This position entails working on one of Unilever’s most iconic global brands and a Philippines local jewel Cream Silk.  Creamsilk is the #1 Postwash brand in the Philippines.

As the Cream Silk Innovation & Engagement Lead – this role will primarily overseethe design of the overall Cream silkbrand strategy – defining new and disruptive business models that will create new opportunities to further grow the Brand.

As a result, this role will be accountable for the creation and landing of the innovation roadmap and of the brand equity strategy, engagement principles and campaign designs.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Portfolio and Brand Strategy Development - formation of a strong portfolio & brand strategy, including identification of gaps and growth opportunities within the market, clear brand differentiation, and well-crafted portfolio and mix, giving the brand both short and long-term wins.

  • Local Consumer Insighting and Full Mix Development – From consumer insighting & ideation to local crafting of full 6Ps for innovations that address consumer pain points & business opportunities, backed up by robust consumer testing  

  • Strategic project management - Building project timelines and defining key milestones and responsibilities for effective progress and On Time in Full (OTIF) launches

  • Communication Strategy & Development -Craft robust social first communication strategy for brand campaigns & innovations with convincing and appealing assets, delivering single minded messaging to consumers in the most effective channels for the target audience.

All About You:

To succeed in this role, it will require:

  • 8-10 years in marketing experience, with substantial & proven track record on brand development skills (i.e., brand positioning/equity, concept development, innovation & communication development).

  • Analytical acumen, consumer Understanding & Strategic Thinking, enabling to translate market & consumer insights into long term, consistent brand strategy & subsequent mixes.

  • Deep local market expertise, especially in Beauty categories.

  • An extremely strong eye for & appreciation of beauty, and ability to drive premiumization.

  • Positive, assertive yet empathetic leadership, with exceptional ‘soft skills’ to enable delivery through high degrees of collaboration and partnership.

  • Proven learning ability, strong ability to lead in autonomy and can-do attitude.
