Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job:

To provide partners the necessary requirements to execute a specific promotion /activation.  They will lead the planning of the activity including artwork designing, sourcing of materials (merch & premiums) and permit processing across customers / channels / categories.

 Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide effective and cost effective means of executing an activity
  • Ensure timely delivery of requirements to stakeholders (i.e. field / CCD partners)
  • Drive continuous improvement in activity execution

Qualifications:

  • As a Promo Planning Manager, they must lead the entire planning process after stakeholders download the activity concept.
  • They should have basic understanding of digital merchandising / promotions / advertising to drive activations to the next level.
  • They must have basic knowledge on artwork editing and designing.
  • They must be able to translate the concepts into reality by providing the following:
    • Designs / Artwork aligned to the theme – working in coordination with the Creatives team
    • Traditional / Digital Merchandising materials – working in coordination with IW
    • Premium items and other materials needed to execute the activity – working in coordination with Procurement
    • Government permits
  • They must be able to work with cross functional teams during the planning process (i.e. Third party agencies, field teams, CCD team, QA, R&D, MDM)
  • They can solve problems in execution and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes
  • They must possess the following traits:
    • Can work well in teams
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Can work well under tight deadlines
    • Have clear attention to details
  • Graduate of a Business or related degree from a reputable university
  • Should be a team player and possesses a professional and mature demeanor
  • Should have an experience in a corporate marketing environment
  • Experience overseeing work of others
  • 2 to 3 years relevant experience in project management and handling digital merchandising / promotions is a plus
  • Amenable for a Project Based role of 12 months.
