Join our Ice Cream Journey in the role as Shopper Marketing Manager!

If you consider to work for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

In this role, you will be leading customer, category & brand growth through strategic shopper marketing activities targeting shoppers across their “Path to Purchase” touchpoints. This role focusses on unlocking barriers, prompting triggers to purchase, to positively influence shopper behavior.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a winning Shopper Marketing strategy, integrating the plan across the Path to Purchase touch points

• Understand and define the shopper insights, triggers and barriers to purchase to sharpen the key jobs to be done to deliver growth

• Develop and execute transformative engagement at the point of purchase through best-in-class executions, including development & sourcing of point of sales material with advertising agencies and print houses

• Build strong “Go To” relationships with key retailer marketing and trading teams

• Be the expert on opportunities within Retailers to support their corporate marketing initiatives or opportunities to develop portfolio activity, and drive sales of our Ice Cream Brands

• Develop proposals for specific Category driving Retailer Shopper Marketing Programmes.

• Ensure the Shopper Marketing plans & Annual Sales Activity Plan are aligned to the brand objectives and customer priorities across the year.

• Lead in conjunction with marketing teams and CBD to develop tailored shopper marketing plans for key customers.

• Manage collaborative creative agency relationships, through inspirational briefs, holding them accountable for deliverables and within budget.

• Ensure all in-store activations land successfully on time in full as planned

• Ensure shopper marketing plans have a positive return on investment and deliver tangible results.

COMPETENCIES

• Persist a great internal drive with a strong ability to manage your own time and multiple workstreams at once. Be structured, well organized & with a strong eye for details is important when creating best in class sales material

• Promote an analytical and result -oriented mindset, with a strong passion for growing businesses

• Inherit a strong blend of people, communication & presentation skills; you’ll need to be credible and confident in front of people with the power to influence and negotiate

• Be effective in building, maintaining & facilitating relationships within the organization and with external parties

• Shopper Insights: Inquisitive about shoppers and shopping behavior and translating insight into actions

• Experience of using shopper data tools

REQUIRED EXPEREINCE

• A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing is preferred.

• Achieved visible results within sales and/or marketing.

• Experience from trade/shopper marketing and/or brand management.

• Experience from FMCG is a strong merit.

• Experience of project management.

• Fluent skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
