Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Getting the right services and materials, sustainably sourced and ensuring responsible procurement is critical to ensuring our brands with purpose grow. As the Global Procurement Senior Coordinator – Innovation Management, you'll be the voice of Procurement to the innovation network, ensuring representation in the strategic category agenda. You'll also convey the category’s needs within Procurement, translating them into effective executable actions and sustainable strategies for novel materials. Your unique vantage point will enable you to drive extra value, speed, and execution into the future portfolio of our Brands.

Role Profile:

· You have a clear understanding of the category’s strategy, vision and needs. You ‘connect the dots’ and will translate the business and technical roadmap into key material and supplier sourcing strategies.

· You can see the big picture within the end-to-end value chain and aid value creation at speed for the category. Where programs and activities overlap you work as part of x-functional team to drive delivery.

· You work collaboratively with your peers, by sharing and taking best practice for the benefit of the category and overall procurement community. You ensure clarity and alignment on ways of working with x-functional partners to deliver effectively.

· You use your strategic influencing skills to drive procurement considerations and recommendations within the innovation network.

Key Responsibilities:

· Represent Procurement in Hair Care and Skin Care innovation projects, working with cross functional team (Brand, Planning, R&D, Engineering) to deliver the innovation sourcing strategy OTIF.

· Understand the scope in full to determine potential risks on the supply chain and action needed to mitigate it.

· Support business cases analysis.

· Align innovation pipeline with packaging and raw material portfolio strategies.

· Prospect suppliers for new raw materials to the category/Unilever, defining the best source based on cost, quality, resilience and risk.

· Work along with portfolio teams on RFQ when a tender is required by innovation.

Skills:

· Excellent communication skills: sharp, concise and effective communication; presentation: context framing, problem formulation and solution proposition; strategic influence and storytelling.

· Stakeholder management.

· Ability to work with different demands at the same time.

· Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

· Strong networking, relationship management and interpersonal skills

· Strategical influencing and internal negotiation

· Autonomy: confidence to work and lead projects without constant supervision

· Ability to work in virtual teams.

· Fluency in spoken and written English – Spanish is a plus

· Operational computer skills (MS Office, PowerBI)

· SAP (advantage)

Experience Required:

· University degree, postgraduate degree is a plus.

· Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or R&D.

· Experience in project management and/or project planning.
