Location: Weena, Rotterdam – the Netherlands

Unilever Food Solutions is an independent Global Business Unit, which is the 5th largest Business Unit in Unilever. UFS is ~20% of Nutrition Business Group and operates in 76 markets with a Turnover of about €3 Bn. UFS operates with a different business model that has a greater emphasis on chefs and field sales to drive demand creation with operators in a Business-to-Business setting. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Execute the global UFS Analytics vision, help build performant local organizations and implement clear and structured Ways of Working (WOW) between global and regional markets and other stakeholders. 

  • Teach markets a data driven business approach and coach on the use of CRM.

  • Help to create relevant global insights from data and provide directions on how to use and refine the data and our approach locally (data to insights to action).

  • Understand and spread machine assisted decision-making (AI/Cognitive Computing/Machine Learning) to unlock the insights from vast amounts of consumer, customer & internal data.

  • Oversee data governance, data expertise and data driven decision making  

  • Share best in class results and approaches in the global data analytics community

  • Ensure sales are able to use the global formats and frameworks for dashboards with local adaptability. 

  • Train local/regional talent based on expertise on local sources and systems.

  • Drive adoption, change management and upskilling activities across the market sales teams.

  • Bridge the gap between sales data and analytics requirements and respective analytic solutions i.e. conduct manual analysis where required and work with the relevant teams to enhance those functionalities for future use.

  • Providing on-going analysis on SKU performance & penetration to drive optimized category Portfolio & Mix

  • Deliver real time insight to build and deliver growth targets by defining a clear action plan for success.

  • Decision support to the market teams providing actionable insights for IBP, S&OP and monthly performance reviews.

  • Conduct analysis across relevant NRM levers using NRM analytics to deliver optimal Pricing, promo and NRM strategy for relevant customers and channels.

SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Strategic and impact-oriented growth mindset.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Operational and strategic understanding of the UFS B2B model, key markets, data environment, and technology ecosystem (e.g., Informatica, UDL, Salesforce, SSD, DSR app, ufs.com).

  • Strong influencing skills with experience working in market, and global teams.

  • Ability to bring clarity to complex business challenges and navigate through them.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and deploy strategies in a matrix organization.

THE QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR

  • 10+ years of total professional experience

  • Operational and strategic understanding of the UFS B2B model, key markets, data environment, and technology ecosystem (e.g., Informatica, UDL, Salesforce, SSD, DSR app, ufs.com).

  • Experience in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) and database management.

  • Proven success in delivering business impact through D&A initiatives.

  • Proven success in team management and development.
