JOB PURPOSE:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Transfer Pricing Manager to ensure our global transfer pricing policies are effectively implemented and monitored, and to support the Head of Transfer Pricing and Tax Strategy with delivery and management of the global tax strategy.
The Transfer Pricing Manager will be responsible for managing TP aspects of business change, mitigating permanent establishment risks, and ensuring compliance in line with evolving TP legislation globally. The role encompasses strategic planning and policy, operationalisation and implementation, overseeing compliance and documentation in conjunction with our outsource provider, and working with markets tax teams to engage effectively with tax authorities on TP matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transfer Pricing Implementation: ensure global transfer pricing policies are correctly implemented and monitored, review transfer pricing outcomes and ensure compliance, including maintenance of tax and finance technology solutions to support the calculation of transfer prices, determination of transfer pricing adjustments, and reporting.
Support and Advice: support Tax Markets teams with Advance Pricing Agreements and transfer pricing tax rulings, provide insights to defend transfer pricing positions in audits and litigations, provide specialist advice on transfer pricing implications of new business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, impact of post-deal operating model integration, and other corporate initiatives, provide strategic support to in-country Tax Business Partners.
Policy Development: contribute to the development and update of transfer pricing policies; accountable for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the global transfer pricing strategy, policies, and risk management framework, aligned with overall business objectives and regulatory environment.
Documentation and Compliance: working with the global outsource provider, oversee timely and accurate preparation of transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with local requirements, including Master and Local files, Country-by-Country Reporting, and transfer pricing input into Pillar II compliance; provide sign-off and technical input on key design decisions relating to ERP systems and other enterprise-wide technology solutions.
Risk Management: identify and mitigate transfer pricing risks, including developing internal controls to prevent non-compliance and potential penalties in light of evolving transfer pricing rules across the global footprint of the Group’s operations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experiences & Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in transfer pricing within an international tax environment.
Knowledge of transfer pricing technical concepts and BEPS action plans.
Understanding of international tax issues, including withholding taxes and permanent establishments.
Experience with tax risk management frameworks and operational transfer pricing.
Strong business partnering skills and experience managing advisors and third-party service providers.
Proficiency in process automation and tools like Power BI.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
