Unilever Italy is looking for a motivated Response Planner to join the Customer Operations team, with a specific focus on Demand planning. The Response Planner is a pivotal position within the Personal Care Business Unit. This role entails managing stock, ensuring superior customer service, and minimizing obsolescence while supporting the team in creating sales forecasts as part of the S&OP cycle. He/She will contribute also to local repacking operations, all while achieving service objectives and reducing obsolescence.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Manage stock levels and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Minimize obsolescence through effective planning and coordination.
- Serve as a vital link between the local business and the supply network, ensuring proper visibility of needs to sourcing units and driving business decisions to mitigate service issues.
- Actively participate in the S&OP cycle, contributing to cross-functional meetings and discussions.
- Plan and schedule repacking operations, coordinating with external suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Ensure product availability and manage reorders of materials.
- Achieve service and obsolescence reduction targets by maintaining a proactive approach to supply chain management.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data and develop actionable insights.
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic organizational environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing abilities, and autonomy, with a curious mindset and a team-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated and solution-oriented, capable of prioritizing effectively under high-pressure conditions.
- Familiarity with planning KPIs and a solid understanding of planning in FMCG is advantageous.
- Proficiency in PowerBI and PowerQuery, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP and RapidResponse is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Qualifications:
- Candidates with degree in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields are strongly preferred
- Relevant experience in planning, particularly within the FMCG sector. However, we are open to considering candidates with diverse backgrounds who demonstrate the necessary skills and competencies for this role
