Job Title: Business Development Assistant Manager (Cambodia)

Scope: Full-time, permanent

Location: Cambodia

If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or consider choosing to work for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the Asia, leading Ice Cream player with €1.2 bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE

As Business Development Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in defining and elevating the fundamentals of our distributor standards—both current and future Identifying untapped opportunities and white spaces beyond day-to-day operations, exploring innovative business models to drive faster, stronger growth and ensuring strategic initiatives are locally relevant and competitive. Success in this position calls for someone who’s confident, curious, and highly skilled in data analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • DT Profitability and healthiness level of DT ROI. 
  • Review current and propose Setting up ideal business model. Standards structure, route to market for Unilever Ice Cream Distributor, trade term and conditions.  
  • Monitor, evaluate on the KPI of Distributor and Distributor team 
  • Analyze the results to find gaps and opportunities, be able to connect the dot and bring and lead to the discussion table with replated stakeholders. 
  • Come up with plans to land the possible opportunities of Distributor by reviewing Distributor manpower, infrastructure, capability also need to lead on territory management by analyzing regional sales by area along with the performance monthly monitoring on KPI of each team (monthly / Quarterly / Yearly basis) 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in sales/marketing or business perspective.
  • Minimum 2- 3 years working experience in similar role and/or Sales Force/Trade/Channel Marketing in FMCG Industry.
  • Excellence of communication in English both written and spoken.
  • Excellence of operating computer such as Excel, Data Analysis, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Power BI is a plus.
  • General understanding about project management.
  • Ability to work individually and being also a good team player.
  • Curious and keen to learn more to improve personal and team capacity.
  • Great interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Hight agility, commitment, resilience and great discipline
  • Knowledge in e/d-commerce platform would be a plus.
