Job Purpose
This position is responsible for managing a complex packaging update across our portfolio of Ice Cream products. The position must interface with internal teams (such as Marketing, Supply Chain and Sales) as well as external partners (print management agencies, design agencies, printers, etc.) to oversee the transition with minimal impact to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as project lead for a large-scale packaging project across multiple brands and products.
Understand the artwork & packaging process, from design brief to finished good production, and the impacts across all business functions to deliver the project on time and in full.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, and Sourcing Units to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, identifying risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
Proactively manage project issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations for your tasks relating to status, timings and technical expertise.
Coordinating multiple project tasks simultaneously; working with various cross-functional team members as well as multiple external stakeholders at the same time.
Managing deliverables in a continuously changing environment, where timelines are tight and artwork is always on the critical path for delivery. Delivering this on time and efficiently.
What you will need to succeed?
You have an eye for detail and love design, brands and packaging. You are CREATIVE. You can handle data and multiple moving parts. You are structured. You are ORGANIZED. You like working with people. This is a high intensity project management role, in which communication, attention to detail and prioritisation are crucial.
Experiences & Qualifications
You have (2-5 years’) experience in artwork management or similar role, which may include: print production, print management, graphic design, packaging development, planning and project management.
Proven project management skills ideally within Packaging, Marketing, Trade Category, Supply Chain, Finance, or R&D with cross-functional exposure.
Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities, efficiency in assigning people and materials to meet project objectives.
Analysing project data to make informed decisions and track progress.
Ability to develop and manage detailed project networks and risk mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and drive accountability for timely delivery.
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
