Job Summary:
As Unilever Procurement adapts to the ever-dynamic business environment, we will need to be agile in order to continue our track record of delivery in contributing to the top and bottom line. - Implementing Unilever best practices without compromising flexibility and speed;
Key Accountabilities
- Development of the Procurement Logistics Strategy for Argentina.
- Development of suppliers strategy.
- Market insights: collection and analysis of data on the Transportation market.
- Intelligence gathering and documentation of best practices through market research.
- Lighthouse Strategy: Leads Logistics Value Creation. Savings, Inflation Mitigation (SRS), cash flow.
- Supports the implementation and execution of Global Procurement strategies agreed upon with appropriate functional and operational teams within the business as needed.
- Leads the use of e-Sourcing tools (e-RFI, e-RFP) and electronic auctions.
- Conceptualize, structure, and specify the collection, analysis, and maintenance of Procurement Logistics data
- Understanding of relevant Unilever internal data, including service description, volume, price, specifications, supplier data, business needs, and constraints.
- Interpret customer data and needs, e.g., volumes, specifications, price points, margin thresholds.
- Ensures the RPP process for 100% of suppliers.
- Ensures contracts management (evaluating, suggesting important clauses, keeping contracts up to date, etc).
- Supports the Strategic Logistics team on SOLA's Transformational Projects.
- Lives the Unilever Code of Business Ethics in all activities.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any of the following areas desired: Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain
- Minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain experience working cross functionally with Procurement function is required
- Procurement experience is strongly desired
- Familiar with business and finance concepts
- Results driven with a strong ethical behavior
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking and business vision
- Excel and data management proficient
- Microsoft Office suite, SAP Business
- Good communication skills
