LatAm Innovation Planning Coordinator – Beauty & Wellbeing As part of Unilever’s commitment to delivering purposeful and sustainable innovation, the Innovation Planning Coordinator – B&W will be responsible for leading the end-to-end planning and execution of innovation projects within the Beauty & Wellbeing category. This role ensures that all new product introductions (NPIs) are delivered on time, in full, and in line with business objectives, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Lead the planning and coordination of all innovation projects within the Beauty & Wellbeing category. • Act as the primary point of contact for B&W innovation timelines, ensuring alignment across supply chain, marketing, CSP, R&D, procurement, and manufacturing. • Manage project milestones and gate deliverables, ensuring readiness for each stage of the innovation funnel. • Identify risks and bottlenecks in project execution and proactively drive resolution with relevant stakeholders. • Full alignment between BG SC and BU SC teams. • Lead Innovation Meeting forums for landing projects with BU operational teams. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data in systems such as SAP, PLM, and project management tools. • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to innovation delivery, including OTIF (On Time In Full) and cost targets. • Support continuous improvement initiatives specific to B&W innovation planning processes. • Lead project complexity assessment (worksheet transformers) • With complexity defined by each area, build draft network (with pre-defined models did in transformers) • Anticipate SC requirements on: • (1) technical routes for manufacturing –In House and 3P needs; and • (2) supply of raw and pack • SC Initial Scoping: • In-House/ CMs / New CMs, Technology, Shelf-life expectations, Sourcing Leadtime, Resiliency options, MOQ Review. Pre-Req: Technical Brief Lock with R&D • Check timings and production cost estimates; with Cluster input if needed; engineering considerations (CAPEX, moulds, machine capabilities), trials considerations • Provide estimates and risks into financials, refining as project progresses. Scoping of initial costs involved - product cost, capex, supply costs) • R&D alignment on Technical Risk Assessment (Level 1,2); preparation of risk mitigation and resilience plans • Lead discussion about capacity evaluation (Molds and Sourcing Units) and sourcing strategy with Strategic Planning and Procurement • Support on Volumes definition for each innovation considering entire category and ambitions behind each brand with CSP, Marketing & Planning driving accuracy • Formalization about volume and mix lock, after SC capacity review and supportability • Input material volumes into RFQ for quotations of CM briefing • Open TBS process to quote CM production cost. • Guarantee that Product Design Lock (Develop Gate) and Manufacturing Lock (Launch Gate) is defined according Innoflex process. • Financials Sign-off: • Sign-off on SCC assumptions in the BC. • Final BC including costs (CAPEX, moulds, etc) & margins. • SC risks sign-off, identified in Technical Risk Assessment (TRA), risk mitigation, plan, and final resilience assessment • SC E2E analysis and tracking, it means: • 1st PO volume definition (toolkit input), in case of Anticipates Purchase Order (APO) Calculation. • Lead commissioning and pipeline production plan detailing to estimate correct times in network • Request waste risk analysis for Integrated Planning Team • Track new material arrivals in production plants • Lead discussion about pipeline volumes availability in Target Launch Date. • Evaluate risk of write-off due to short shelf life or specific consumption of raw and/or pack materials • Write off analysis for delisted materials and FG • Lead process of FG Codes creation • Request new CU/DU/EAN/DUN • Track BOM creation and/or review with R&D • Lead FG code costing process • Launch Preparation: • Material arrival tracking • CUC, bottles & cap standards and labels color proof delivery tracking • FG codes in SM60 • Check time required to delivery pipeline volumes, based on commissioning (lead by T&E) and first production detailing (lead by Integrated Planning) • Tracking distribution until final DC ________________________________________ Key Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain planning, project coordination, or innovation management. • Strong understanding of innovation processes within FMCG, preferably in the beauty or personal care sector. • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills. • Proficiency in planning tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, Power BI). • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • English and Spanish. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in or with Beauty & Wellbeing categories. • Familiarity with Unilever’s innovation and supply chain systems. • Knowledge of digital planning tools and agile project methodologies.
