Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Getting the right services and materials, sustainably sourced and ensuring responsible procurement is critical to ensuring our brands with purpose grow. Our teams work closely with the business to understand stakeholders needs, bring innovation to meet changing consumer, employees and customer’s needs, and drive financial value for Unilever through competitive buying. We’re at the forefront of digital procurement, bringing new tools and analytics to drive data-based decisions.
Main job purpose:
The main purpose of the job is ensuring early procurement involvement in innovation and supply chain projects, being responsible for the on-time and in-full delivery of the procurement project tasks.

Key Accountabilities:
Procurement business partner to the category Manage Procurement deliverables for innovation projects as below
Participate in cross functional project teams for Innovation as the Procurement partner
Identify (new) raw and pack materials introduced by Innovation projects together with business partners
Brief Portfolio Procurement on upcoming innovations and ensure supplier selection is in line with our Procurement Strategies and with sufficient capacity for growth
Ensure material capacity and provide procurement input for risk assessment contingency planning for a timely introduction
Coordinate and ensure competitive prices
Coordinate resilience risk assessment and mitigation plan
Manage Procurement activities on innovation project networks
Bring-in ideas from suppliers
Ensure early engagement of suppliers for input into innovation projects
Lead Procurement input for decision making at leadership team level (GCIT meetings for example) e.g. pricing of materials, resilience risk statements, lead times, savings potentials and financial impact
Hand over the projects to the relevant BU procurement team for implementation
Generate material efficiency (ME) cost saving (CS) ideas for global and regional 5S (value improvement) workshops and savings target delivery.
Support ASA/ AMA (alternative supplier/alternative material) projects delivery for either resilience or 5S reasons.
Manage the procurement deliverables for complexity reduction programmes.
Secure supplier capacity and capability for strategic growth.
Lead/support Sustainability projects (ex. better, less and no plastic agenda)

Essential
Minimum 6+ years' experience in procurement preferably in FMCG
Strong stakeholder management skills
Strong communication skills.
