About the role
This role reports to the Global Dove Influencer Marketing Manager who is based at 100 Victoria Embankment, London. You are required to be office based 2 days per week at a minimum.
This is an exciting, varied Influencer Marketing Assistant Manager role for someone who wants to join a busy, passionate & driven team and be integral in building innovative, strategic global influencer marketing activities.
This role is suitable for someone who is digitally native with a history of contributing to the success of social-led influencer campaigns. You thrive on social-first principle thinking, and have a solid understandingof influencers, social media and social content. You will be part of teams crafting strategies and content that not only engage but also inspire action amongst Dove’s core audiences and communities.
The Influencer Marketing Assistant Manager will work very closely with global category teams to ensure consistency of approaches, build exceptional ‘Others Say’ plans that meet category and PR/Comms objectives to drive brand power. You will also work hand in hand with top Dove markets to ensure they execute best in class work.
The ideal candidate has a great balance between being creative and being a great planner. You have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and you are passionate about providing the best influencer marketing support to marketing teams. You are a strong team player, networker, able to convince, build commitment and support through your friendly and proactive personality.
Responsibilitiesinclude
To support the Dove Influencer Marketing Managerwith the continued evolution of the Dove influencer marketing function.
Assist with the creation and execution of Influencer Marketing Global pilot approaches.
Assist the Dove Influencer Marketing Managerand collaborate with top Dove countries and category teams on their integrated comms plan – offering support and creative ideas along the way.
Assist on the design of data-led Social-first PR and Creator Marketing strategies
Assist the team in running of global events.
Support with analysis and measurement of influencer marketing effectiveness alongside the Dove Influencer Marketing Manager
Assist with the management of the team budget.
To actively contribute to a dynamic communications environment of continuous improvement and effectiveness.

Knowledge of how to build, maintain, and evaluate influencer marketing campaigns.
Strong knowledge around all key social media channels: IG, TikTok, YouTube…
Literate in and passionate about communications technologies, especially, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office 365 suite, with strong Sharepoint skills.
Proven project management support skills - has a desire for flawless execution, strong attention to detail and a track record of supporting teams on delivering plans with measurable result.
Has a bias for action, shows accountability and responsibility and has a can-do attitude.
Highly organised with a flexible and adaptable working style.
Able to manage multiple priorities, work at pace, and offer support across concurrent projects.
Essential experience:
Relevant experience in external Influencer Marketing/Communications in a large organisation or PR/Influencer Marketing agency. Ideally with strong beauty industry experience.
Insight led: experience leveraging a variety of data inputs and mining for insights to optimise influencer marketing approaches.
Experience of supporting managing and executing brand paid and earned social influencer campaigns from beginning to end.
Clear understanding of the requirements and demands of an international role.
Stakeholder management – has worked with multiple internal and external stakeholders and has experience collaborating to get the job done.
Proven networking abilities.

Location
In 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars ("100VE"), Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond, the build is due to be complete in early 2025. Most recently, in August 2024, we announced our intention to retain our premises in 100VE until our lease expires in 2027.
We are due to consult with our existing workforce on the new proposal to retain 100VE for the duration of our lease. Therefore, until such a time consultation has concluded as to the retention of our 100VE office, this role will be based in 100 Victoria Embankment until early 2025 and then will move to the Kingston Campus.

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money.In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
