• Develop a deep understanding of Unilever’s operational processes and leverage both external data (e.g., distributor / wholesaler / cash & carry channels) and internal data (e.g., primary sales, inventory, forecasting data) to deliver actionable reports/ analytics that support stakeholders in making effective business decisions.

• Take ownership of routine data tasks, including the generation of daily/weekly/ monthly reports and the maintenance and refreshing PowerBI dashboards or Excel

• Assisting in preparing data for deep-dive analysis, supporting the development of new models and helping to identify gaps or opportunities in the business.

• Support the analytical process by performing preliminary analysis, such as creating initial data visualizations and running descriptive statistics, to help in the early identification of trends and patterns.

• Address ad-hoc data inquiries from business users by extracting information from existing data sources and running predefined queries to provide timely support.

• Perform data extraction, cleaning and validation to ensure high levels of data quality and integrity for all analytical outputs.

• Support the overall data ecosystem by helping to troubleshoot data issues, creating clear documentation for processes and preparing materials for stakeholder communication.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or any related quantitative field.

• Up to 1 year of working experience or internship in data related role such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Intern or Reporting Support is preferred.

• Proficiency in Power BI, Advanced Excel, Power Automate, Power Query are preferred.

• Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python for data manipulation) is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills to create and keep work files that are easy to review and understand.

• Technical Comprehension – learn/understand data, business logic and formulas that are used to determine performance metrics.

• Problem solving – identifying problems and reviewing related information to find solutions.

• Detail oriented – high attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and timeliness is critical.

• Critical thinking – Using logic and reasoning to analyze information and help identify conclusions or approaches to problems.

• Adaptability - comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adjusting to shifting priorities when necessary.
