Main Job Purpose:
The scope of this role will be conducting Engineering , Supply, Installations and commissioning of the projects relevant to the factory Infrastructure inclusive but not limited to Ammonia Refrigerant systems, Steam Boilers and Hot water generators, Fire Protection systems, Compressed air systems, HVAC Systems, Water treatment plant , Waste water treatment plants, combustible dust and etc.
Making sure all Ice cream factories in Middle East and Turkey are compliant with latest updated Infrastructure of the company and global standards.
Visiting the factories and working closely with factory and global engineering team in development of solutions for the purpose of energy saving, process safety gap closures, increasing efficiency of the utility equipment, sustainability targets & etc.
Leading the Infrastructure projects to reach the projects KPIs inclusive of Capex management and delivery in assigned FC, Zero safety incident, On time delivery, sharp ramp up of the projects , delivering high efficient systems with minimized waste amount, etc .
The Infrastructure Lead is responsible for ensuring the PSM program is compliant with all company and global codes of standard.. This position will update and maintain all aspects of the elements of the PSM audit program and provide oversite of compliance to the PSM processes..
Key Accountabilities:
- Become the engineering point of contact for IC Project Teams related to major Engineering projects of Infrastructure Innovation andTechnologies, asset re-use by using Best Practice Tools and Processes (EPM, EEM, Project Management).
- Leading concept & FEED, and supporting Detailed Design, and identifying project budgets for all major pa projects in Cluster in close conjunction with the Global Design Centres and Project leads.
- Undertake technology supplier evaluations in support of defining the technology supply base including scouting for New technologies and suppliers which will provide competitive advantage to the company or strengthen our Global Technology Portfolio.
- Support factory infrastructure teams by identifying best practice/fit for purpose solutions on technology.
- Lead Early Equipment Management teams at key packaging projects and being as the EEM packaging first point of contact for the Cluster.
- Being member of Engineering Cluster Hygiene Platform. Lead/support hygiene audits, gaps closure follow-up.
- Knowledge management of different Machineries ensuring Best Practice is effectively captured and transferred across regions and factories.
- Support Local Engineering Teams on best practice solutions on factory scale projects.
- Support designing/delivering Sustainability capabilities & projects to match to the company sustainability ambition.
- Coach/train refrigeration technicians in ammonia refrigeration process, equipment, regulations, hazards, and PSM compliance.
- Technical SME for PSM, RMP, Mechanical Integrity, PHAs, MOCs, LOPA’s, Risk Assessments, Projects, and related audits.
- Organize and maintain the PSM “library”, including Process Safety Information and OEM equipment information, ensuring PSM program is always audit ready.
- Monitor and assist in training on operating procedures including the annual review/certification and initial/refresher training. Including maintaining the operating procedure training matrix.
- Define and prioritize site programs to meet the needs of regulatory compliance, risk analysis recommendations, corporate policies, site specific procedures and audit findings.
- Ensure monthly PSM team meetings are held and documented with meeting minutes and attendance.
- Develop and review PMs for all refrigeration equipment. Ensue they meet REGAGEP and OEM recommendations. Including monitoring timely completion of PMs.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical integrity elements, including labeling. Ensure this is included in the overall refrigeration maintenance program.
- Contacting vendors and manufacturers as needed for support in resolving issues.
- Participate / Lead investigation team for near misses and incident investigations
- Maintain Ammonia PRV Tracker and Change Out Management Program.
- Ability to work with people at all levels; strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills. Models’ composure and decision -making in stressful situations.
- Working as a team with Supervisors, Maintenance, and Operations to plan, procure and document changes that occur in the refrigeration system through the MOC (Management of Change) process.
- Support and provide oversite for Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews (PSSR).
- Track closures of PSM, PHA, MOC, MI, Audit Findings and other PSM action items.
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvements with regards to refrigeration and utilities.
- Recommend projects annually to be carried out to keep the system ahead of regulation changes, improvements or to keep the system in basic condition.
Professional Skills:
- Professional Engineering Skills (minimum bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline).
Experience Required:
ESSENTIAL
- Experience working in IC companies or similar with the cold chains in factory and warehouses
- Proven records in completion of infrastructure project relevant to Ammonia
- Experience in project management and Project Delivery (all sub skills – supplier assessment and capabilities, risk assessments, FAT and SAT, assessment, and validation of in –house and co-making operations).
- Communication in English & Turkish
- Contract Management & Conflict Resolution
- Capex Management
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Able to manage/develop machine specifications and project management networks.
USEFUL
- Knowledge in WCM.
- Knowledge in EPM/EEM.
- Experience with cross functional, diverse, and multicultural teams.
