The modern Katowice Hub office, whose interiors were designed according to the principles of sustainable development, is located in the city centre of Katowice, Poland.

Global Business Services (GBS) is Unilever’s core business operations engine which is responsible for ensuring business transformative solutions across its 08 services lines - Finance, Marketing, Customer Operations, Customer Development, Procurement, HR – People Experience, Legal, Workplace. The Workplace, Travel & Fleet Services organisation, a part of GBS, delivers the Fleet, Facilities Management, Building Projects, Travel and Agile (Workplace design standards) services for Unilever. Working with around 2000 + permanent employees and 1000+ supplier resources.

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Maintain all hub processes and procedures that are consistently implemented across the region
Hire, onboard and lead an operational team
Lead our hub operational team in the day-to-day work by motivating, developing, coaching and coordinating all activities to ensure optimum efficiency is achieved.
Take accountability while providing status, ask for help, and immediately escalate issues and problems as necessary
Functional- directional operational efficiency for existing fleet Management for the countries in the region.
Liaison with Global Fleet team and stakeholders
Liaison with internal Workplace Service Delivery Managers in countries
Liaison with Lease Companies in the region
Take accountability while providing status, ask for help, and immediately escalate issues and problems as necessary
Provide advice and support via different communication channels
Maintain and develop working relationships with the suppliers: lessors, OEM’s, dealers.
Broad knowledge and compliance of Country Fleet Policies and Procedures that impact the way we operate
Maintaining and reporting country fleet data and all vehicle activities in the Unilever Fleet Management System
Full knowledge about the end to end process for fleet in the region.
Full knowledge and control of the team members' responsibilities
Ensuring legislative responsibilities are maintained and escalated where issues are found
Ensuring fleet services are delivered according to the local country policies
Coordinate, input, validate and interpret data from various sources including core systems and excel providing support and guidance to Fleet team in relation to data
Point of contact for internal customer escalations of queries and requests
Responsible for the preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure tasks are fulfilled within agreed timelines
Assist and support the hub fleet team where necessary
Work collaboratively with Global Fleet team on the fleet requirements for the region
Assist and support the Global Fleet team and the regional team in strategic decisions
Being the point of contact for any escalation in the region
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Experience in fleet management ~3- 5 years, depends on the previous experience and fleet size.
Fluent English communication
Ideally language skills to communicate in other languages apart from English, as German, French, Spanish, Polish Italian, Hungarian, Romanian or Czech
Fleet market and industry knowledge:
Candidate should be able to explain how the fleet ordering of leased and owned vehicle should work (with additional discount’s and bonus claims).
Have information about the key OEM’s suppliers within the specific region and lessors.
Fleet management/Lessor representative, administration background
Clear understanding of fleet systems and processes
Knowledge of Road legislation, Road traffic and Health and Safety Regulations and hazard reporting
Experience of working in a similar role
Work on own initiative, proactive approach with a positive attitude
Excellent attention to detail, proficient in the use of excel and core systems
Ability to consistently work towards set objectives and tight deadlines
Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders for queries and questions
Logical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively
A flexible and adaptable approach to the changing needs of the business
Committed Team leader
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence, making suggestions for improvements
