JOB PURPOSE
The role is accountable for driving the end to end digitization of SC & Finance in the business units of Arabia and PTAB. This role is accountable for landing the delivery and benefits of GDT capabilities for customer operations. This includes expanding the use of AI and automation, partnering closely with the SC & Finance leaders and Products in the GDT SC & Finance Domains to drive user centricity, embed and the value from GDT capabilities.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Trusted partner to SC & Finance leadership and their teams
- Create and execute strategies that leverage digital technologies, AI, and automation to enhance functional outcomes
- Ensure alignment of analytics, AI and technology initiatives with business unit objectives.
- Accountable for the digitisation of SC & Finance, leading the E2E GDT plan for SC & Fin in the business unit on behalf of the CDIO(s)
- Prioritises and aligns the plan, outcomes and timelines with SC & Finleadership across products
- Drives benefits and adoption with the business unit/focus market SC & Fin teams and GDT product teams
- Drives local stakeholder engagement and feedback prioritisation, advocating for user centricity and continuous improvement
- Accountable for business unit/focus market SC & Fin sign-off and validation of products
- Lead business deployment of Cross BU, BU specific or BU tailored products, working closely with GDT products to ensure outcome delivery
- Acts as first point of contact for SC & Fin leaders into GDT, resolving risks, issues and questions
- Suggests opportunities for leverage of AI and Automation to drive productivity, growth or operational effectiveness
Experience & Qualifications
- In-market engagement/partnering experience of GDT capabilities across SC & Fin function
- Deep knowledge / experience across SC & Fin processes and the Arabia market plus ideally one other PTAB market
- Technology deployment/run leadership experience of SC & Fin products, both local in Arabia and global
- Prior experience in building and communicating GDT capability portfolios to drive priorities
- Able to land functional prioritization forum with the SC & Fin leadership to align on the plan
- Experience with participating in function/country leadership team, and preparing for function / BU Leadership meetings
- Experience with managing the finances of GDT functional teams
- Experience in working with GDT central SC & Fin product teams
- Experience in working with the GDT service delivery, incident management processes
- Experience with the GDT Cyber and Enterprise Architecture processes
- Knowledge of Unilever AI processes and capabilities
- Experience with and a track record of working highly effectively in matrix organizations/environments with multiple teams/individuals is very important
- Very strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
