Job Title: Assistant Manger Media, and Activations – Ice Cream

Function: IC Marketing

Work Level: WL1

Reports to:Media Lead – Ice Cream

Location: Karachi Head Office

JOB PURPOSE

To support the development and execution of integrated media, content and activation strategies for the Ice Creams portfolio. This role will play a key part in building brand salience, driving penetration, and delivering best-in-class consumer experiences across all touchpoints.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITES BE

1) Media Strategy & Deployment:

• Support the development of full-funnel media strategies across traditional and digital touchpoints, rooted in brand and business objectives.

• Partner with media agencies to ensure timely and data-led planning, buying, and in-campaign optimizations.

• Track performance KPIs, manage budgets, and deliver learnings to enhance future planning.

 • Drive media excellence by staying current on consumer trends, platform shifts, and innovations.

2) Content Strategy & Execution:

• Support the creation of integrated content plans aligned with the consumer journey and media strategy.

 • Partner with creative and media agencies to develop platform-native content optimized for impact (TV, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

3)Activations & Experiential Marketing:

• Plan and execute on-ground activations and sampling initiatives that bring brand purpose and experience to life.

 • Manage agency partners for flawless execution, ensuring activations are insight-led, measurable, and scalable.

 4) Media Partnerships Development and Governance:

• Build and nurture partnerships with TV Channels, telcos, OTT players, and emerging media platforms to unlock new opportunities.

 • Manage media, digital and activation agency partners.

• Assisting in Audits and Governance

 5) Capability Building:

• Help equip internal and external teams with the right tools, audience insights, and skills to succeed in media.

• Onboard cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to future-proof digital strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field

• Experience of working in media, digital marketing, or brand activations

• Strong understanding of media planning, digital platforms, and performance marketing

 Skills

• Creative flair and attention to detail in content and activation planning

• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate insights

• Strong project management and communication skills

• Collaborative, proactive, and consumer-obsessed mindset

• Experience in driving change and embedding innovation in the business.

• Experience in handling complex stakeholders across matrixed organisations.
