WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Ensure compliance with Treasury and Insurance global policies
- Day to day supervision of treasury activities
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial service providers, address cost and quality issues
- Drive simplification, efficiency and quality improvement in accounting, reporting and managing of the Treasury processes
- Ensure together with Legal and Tax departments that the Treasury processes meet legal, currency control and tax requirements and the Company has all the necessary documents to support its position with tax authorities and other official bodies
- Ensure short-term and longer-term funding of the entities with optimal funding mix, through close communication with Global Treasury team
- Manage yearly Cash Management tender process
- Assist cashflow forecasting process, understand all the cash drivers, identify liquidity risks and provide insights to help decision making such as third party/concern borrowing, dividend payments, capital increases/reductions
- Assist with the foreign exchange risk management process, ensure financial risk is correctly identified and mitigated via appropriate instruments e.g. Layered Hedge
- Manage insurance of company assets and liabilities (excluding HR insurances), make sure that the local entities are compliant according to local regulatory laws
- Lead Digitalization projects in Treasury and provide support to projects in Controlling area as needed
- End to end responsibly for treasury controls and standards
- Provide continuous development and coaching of Treasury team
Experiences & Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration or any related field
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of financial and banking processes, finance processes and operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Turkish and English
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
- Knowledge and experience of Global Financial Controls Framework (GFCF)
- Strong analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Self-driven and strong in execution
- Demonstrated success in management of multiple projects & competing priorities in a time sensitive environment
- Interested in process improvement and Digitalization
- Proactive approach to task management and self-development
