JOB PURPOSE
The key contribution of Associate Procurement Manager– Superior Availability is the ensuring Service, Quality & Resilience for inbound material supply. You are strategically supporting inbound material supply by designing resilience, problem solving and working closely with planning and MRP teams. You are in the great position to drive Category Growth by securing the inbound supply chain and designing process and structural resilience interventions around this.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
• Being the representative of procurement to face suppliers to service and inbound supplier, as well as working with planning and other stakeholders.
• Support cross category & cross functional service initiatives and pillars as a member of the
• Support the business in all procurement activities related to MRP.
• Develop and execute the material resilience strategy for North America in support of derisking high impact materials and delivering on business continuity needs
• Responsible for driving supplier operational results though partnership, for material quality and service.
• Lead the establishment of best practices to drive service metrics (Service, Quality and Inventory) to plants from whole supply. Provide voice and proposed action plans on all potential risks to supply continuity and build structural resiliency.
• Work cross functionally with teams in Supply Chain, R&D, and BU to land material resilience strategy and gain buy-in for key program initiatives
• Fully understand the supplier relationship structure, including established linkages between Procurement Portfolio, Global Team and internal/external customers in delivery materials service and quality
• Managing working capital and misc cost reductions in partnership with Supply Chain and Finance
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor Degree Supply Chain/ Logistic, Business, Sciences, Engineering
• 2-3 years general business experience in any Supply Chain function (Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Management, Planning)
• Working in multi-cultural environment

You’re a culture & change champion: Assist with the collaborative relationship with the suppliers and Procurement regarding resiliency, service and quality.
You’re a dot connector: Strongly link to internal support functions (Buyers, R&D, Engineering, Go-to-Market Planning,& Brand,) to ensure the progressions of material flow for operations and long term resilience
Professional Skills:
• High level of understanding of supply chain, value chains, resilience, and operations
• High level of interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Good track record in impactful stakeholder management
• Great track record of problem solving in complex and high pressure environments
• Excellent Power Point and Excel skills
Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
