JOB PURPOSE

The Shea Moisture Amazon Performance Lead is responsible for driving the end-to-end performance of the Shea Moisture brand on Amazon. This role blends strategic leadership, digital commerce expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate growth, optimize media investments, and elevate brand equity within the Amazon ecosystem.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Amazon Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and execution of Shea Moisture’s Amazon strategy, including media planning, optimization, and performance tracking. Own the Amazon canvas and ensure alignment with national brand priorities.
  • Media Investment & ROI: Manage Amazon media budgets and investments, ensuring efficient spend across categories (Hair, HBL, Face) to meet topline goals. Leverage insights to evolve funnel management and drive conversion. 
  • Performance Analysis & Forecasting: Monitor POS, forecast trends, and identify growth opportunities. Translate data into actionable insights to inform innovation, bundling strategies, and segmentation.
  • Innovation & Launch Support: Partner with brand and innovation teams to support new product launches and restages, ensuring Amazon readiness and visibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between internal teams (brand, media, analytics, shopper marketing) and external partners (Amazon, WPP Unite). Lead workshops and planning sessions to align on goals and spark new ideas. 
  • Consumer-Centric Storytelling:
    Champion the voice of the consumer—especially Black women with melanin-rich skin—by ensuring product messaging, claims, and creative assets resonate authentically.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Experience managing or mentoring cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration, performance development, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Proven experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or brand management, preferably within CPG or beauty.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive performance.
  • Deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, including media, content, and retail operations.
  • Passion for inclusive beauty and a commitment to serving diverse consumers.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $99,760 to $149,640. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
