WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• As Greater Asia BU Connect, adeptly represent procurement to the Personal Care Greater Asia BU’s and Vietnam Board of Directors as well as interpreting market dynamics and business need to enhance procurement strategies and decision making. Responsible for all key projects and innovation interfacing with business group.
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the Personal Care Greater Asia’s goals and objectives, optimizing supplier selection and cost-effectiveness for locally sourced materials and Collaborative Manufacturing (CM).
• Unleash Cost Savings and Maximize Value: Lead game-changing cost-saving initiatives with an unwavering focus on top-notch quality and unmatched value in all procurement activities.
• Supplier Partnership: Foster strong collaboration and partnerships with suppliers, working closely to co-create innovation, competitive advantage and ensure reliable supply chains.
• Sustainable Sourcing: together with the business delivering Unilever sustainability goals and commitment, competitively.
• Superior Availability: develop and execute Business Continuity / Resilience Plan for materials supply, improve supply agility and supply crisis management.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers, technologies, and trends, providing insights for strategic decision-making. Continuously monitor market trends, conditions, and price fluctuations, providing accurate forecasts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as global  portfolio procurement, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance teams, to support product development, innovation, forecasting processes and delivering margin and savings target for business
• Ensure Cash Delivery through Creditor Management
• Drive Quality and Compliance standards across Suppliers and CM Partners
• Drive key Procurement Pillars and Lead/Participate in Regional and/or Global Lighthouse Squad

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum 8-10 years experience in a procurement/supply chain role

Master or Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Finance/Supply Chain Management

A self-starter with strong accountability and responsibility towards leadership standards

Negotiation skills with business acumen is a must

Strong influencing skills in managing stakeholder, both internal and external

Fluent in English – spoken & written – strong communication skills

Excellent Excel and Powerpoint Presentation skills – present key findings in concise way

Experience with pricing and cost models

Experience in managing cross functional teams
