We’re establishing four Legal Powerhouses in Bangalore, Mexico City, Barcelona and São Paulo, which will be an integral part of the Legal Function and provide defined, structured services to our other lawyers and to the wider business.
Where this position fits-into the team:
- Part of the Unilever Legal Powerhouse – a team we’re currently building, which consists of around 20 colleagues in Mexico City
- Integral part of the Unilever’s Legal Function - a global operation consisting of approximately 500 lawyers and specialists
Unilever is looking for an experienced executive assistant to support the General Counsel of North America. As the NA Legal Executive Assistant, you will play a vital role in the management of the General Counsel’s agenda, ensuring the smooth operation of the NA Legal Department.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments and travel arrangements for the General Counsel; Act as a point of contact between the General Counsel and internal/external stakeholders
- Planning & coordination of Law Department meetings, events and activities in conjunction with the department’s Culture & Community Squad
- Project management for Department-wide workstreams, development of tracking systems and internal Sharepoints to host resources
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, power point presentations as requested
- Coordinate and attend meetings, taking accurate minutes and following up on action points
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professional discretion
- Organize and prioritize tasks, ensuring deadlines are met successfully
- Provide administrative support to other members of the legal team as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- 3 - 5 years' experience as a Legal Administration Assistant, Personal Assistant, Project Management or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or related field preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with Artificial Intelligence tools a plus
- Excellent business English, with strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and drive for organization and process excellence
- Strong interpersonal skills and highly team-oriented
