JOB PURPOSE

As the leader of the fastest-growing, most creative, and dynamic channel, the IC NOW & DMC Manager Ice Cream will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy-to-execution framework for Romania and Moldova. This role is pivotal in driving continuous learning, innovation, and agility across the digital landscape.

In the capacity of Digital Marketing, Media, and Digital Commerce (DMC) Manager, the role leads the digital marketing agenda to deliver seamless and impactful digital consumer experiences. This includes scaling data-driven strategies and executing best-in-class digital campaigns that resonate with consumers.

Additionally, the role champions Digital Commerce (dCommerce) by driving growth through performance-based KPIs, enhancing current and future capabilities, and embedding shopper insights into all consumer and customer-centric plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own full end-to-end P&L responsibility for assigned customers.
  • Manage key dCommerce and delivery app accounts (e.g., Glovo, Tazz, Bolt Food), ensuring strong relationships, aligned growth plans, and consistent performance.
  • Prepare for business planning meetings and align on joint business plans with customers.
  • Design tailored promotions in collaboration with customers.
  • Lead and manage best-in-class brand campaigns.
  • Ensure flawless execution of dCommerce fundamentals.
  • Inspire internal IC NOW advocacy by creating a movement of passionate supporters—even winning over the skeptics!
  • Plan and deliver actionable measurement insights to drive business decisions.
  • Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of digital assets through close collaboration with Marketing and DMC teams.
  • Act as the Webmaster—the single point of contact within DMC for all website-related queries and updates.
  • Identify and secure new revenue streams and business models to future-proof digital commerce capabilities across SCE countries.
  • Serve as the “air traffic controller” of the DMC, driving prioritization and ensuring timely, complete delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the CMI team to ensure consistent methodologies and measurement practices.
  • Provide an objective evaluation of campaign performance and monitor agency performance against campaign targets.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Lead and brand teams to maximize ROI and generate insights for future success.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

SKILLS:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Digital Marketing & dCommerce Expertise (Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, media planning, and digital commerce fundamentals, including campaign execution, performance tracking, and ROI optimization).
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies, manage P&L responsibilities, and identify new revenue streams and business models across markets.
  • Proficiency in using data and insights to inform decisions, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement in digital campaigns and commerce initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build partnerships with internal teams (Marketing, DMC, CMI) and external stakeholders (customers, agencies, partners).
  • Capability to lead cross-functional projects, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution with agility.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, dCommerce, or brand management roles.
  • Proven track record in managing digital campaigns, media planning, and performance marketing.
  • Experience in P&L ownership and customer-facing roles, ideally within FMCG or retail sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects across markets.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms.
  • A good comprehension of online retailing and relevant KPIs.
  • A passion for data, understanding trends & creating insights in a new and undeveloped market.
  • Familiarity with dCommerce platforms and analytics tools.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
