JOB PURPOSE:
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Identity and Access Management Lead to join our dynamic team.
The Identity and Access Management Lead is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s identity and access management systems. This role ensures that the right individuals have access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons, thereby safeguarding the organization’s data and systems. The role is part of the Cybersecurity team.
The newly created Ice Cream Technology function will drive the technology set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required technology capabilities to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever.
The IT Identity and Access Management Lead is therefore overseeing that the IT security framework will be defined, focusing on choosing the right tech capabilities for managing accesses to systems and data within the IC organisation as well as defining the right and secure processes to request, manage and safeguard accesses across our technology and data estate.
The successful candidate will be one that has significant IT expertise with a proven record of leading large-scale Cybersecurity transformations and has a passion for building world class IT security standards that make a meaningful impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement IAM strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Align IAM initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- System Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM systems, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
- Manage IAM tools and technologies, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IAM systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Access Control:
- Ensure proper access controls are in place for all systems and applications.
- Manage user access requests, approvals, and reviews.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and principles.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Prepare and present IAM reports to senior management.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of IAM processes and systems.
- Leadership:
- Mentor and share learnings within the tech teams of IAM standards.
- Provide training and support to staff on IAM policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the organization.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in IAM technologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure AD, …).
- Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Leadership and Communication:
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology, IAM or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
