(Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Japan & Korea)

Role Purpose

The Planning Excellence Lead – Forecasting is responsible for driving excellence in demand planning and forecasting capabilities across the Greater Asia region. This role governs the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of key forecasting technologies, ensuring alignment with global standards and local business needs.

The role is also required to partner Greater Asia Planning Director for a specific Business Unit for overall planning performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Governance & Enablement

  • Lead regional governance of forecasting technologies: 

  • FEU (Forecasting Excellence Utility) 

  • Anaplan 

  • Kinaxis – Forecasting Module 

  • SKY for DT – Forecasting Module 

  • Ensure consistent usage, data integrity, and process compliance across markets.

  • Act as the regional point of contact for tool-related escalations, enhancements, and training needs.

  • Collaborate with global and local IT teams to ensure system stability and upgrades.

Capability Building & Process Excellence

  • Drive capability building initiatives for demand planners and cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and deliver training programs, best practices, and user guides.

  • Monitor forecasting KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead / Colead deployment of Customer Connectivity & Forecasting Technology in the region

  • Support change management and adoption of new forecasting processes and tools.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with country planning teams, customer development, and finance to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment.

  • Facilitate regional forums and workshops to share learnings and foster collaboration.

  • Liaise with global planning excellence and digital transformation teams to ensure regional needs are represented.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or digital transformation.

  • Strong understanding of forecasting processes and systems (FEU, Anaplan, Kinaxis, SKY).

  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and change management.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification or hands-on experience in Anaplan or Kinaxis.

  • Familiarity with digital transformation frameworks and agile methodologies.

  • Ability to work across diverse cultures and geographies.
