The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. JOB PURPOSE:
The newly created Ice Cream Group Controlling Team is a core part of the central Ice Cream Finance team.
Ice Cream Group Controlling Team is responsible for Ice Cream’s external financial reporting and global financial reporting controls (including Sarbanes Oxley compliance), managing the global auditor relationship; determining and implementing Ice Cream’s accounting policies; and many other projects related to how Ice Cream measures its performance and presents and communicates this to the external world.
The Group Financial Accounting Manager – Cash Flow is primarily responsible from the preparation of the Group’s cash flow statement, playing a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with international accounting standards and SOX framework. This role requires a deep understanding of global accounting principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams in different countries.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Monthly group Reporting : Monthly internal and external reporting for consolidation and statutory purpose split into Inter-Company, Dividends, Royalty, overall Financial performance and support for any queries
Annual Statutory Audit : Coordinating & support the statutory audit of 10+ legal entities in both Netherlands & United Kingdom in line with Dutch GAAP/IFRS /UK 101.
Acquisitions and Mergers: Preparation of accounting roadmaps for acquisitions, divestments and internal restructurings including oversight for group minority investments
Annual Report: Company statements, Equity schedule, Group notes: Acquisitions and divestments, Interests in Entities.
FX Mitigation: Review Forex exposure and bring it to right senior stakeholders to solve/mitigate and embed checks/controls to identify such exposures.
IFRS Expertise: Be the Centre of Excellence & work alongside team leader to ensure smooth sign off from senior stakeholders including regional directors and Global teams for IFRS reporting.
Impairment assessment: Check for impairment analysis for Intangible and Investments
Inter-Company Reconciliation : As a holding company, ensure all the balances maintained with subsidiaries are reconciled on timely basis
Share based Accounting : Perform share based accounting for the group to be in line with IFRS/Dutch GAAP
Continuous Improvement:
Drive efficiencies in areas of Process improvement including areas like Robotic Process Automation, Power BI and also, Digital transformation
Collaborate on process improvements in financial reporting, automation, and data integrity initiatives, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA or similar) is desirable.
2-4+ years of experience in finance function, with relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting ; specific exposure to Parent and holding accounting and reporting for listed companies is preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Management Reporting in Parent and holding for Dutch/UK Listed entities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
Ability to collaborate and work with different cultures and countries.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI and advanced MS Excel skills is desirable.
Must have competencies
Expertise: on Parent and Holding accounting/reporting, Dutch GAAP and statutory regulation for accounting reporting & handling audit of listed Dutch entities
