JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Coordinate the demand planning process of the relevant category and consolidate the demand forecasting from Brands & CSP to be input for supply and financial planning.
- Directly accountable for Channel category Demand forecast with overall responsibility for the category
- Lead the category Demand Planning Meeting and drive S&OP cycle for Algeria
- Establish an acceptable level of integrity and forecast accuracy of the above forecast.
- Establish, strengthen and maintain the integrity of demand planning process in total company.
- Continually improve the demand planning process and forecast accuracy/Bias of the total company.
- Represents Demand Planning in all relevant category meetings and projects that require Demand Planning involvement.
- Coordinate a cross-functional team consisting of CSP team and Marketing team to deliver an accurate demand to the category - Weekly, sku- volume
- Responsible and accountable to deliver Channel wise Baseline forecast for the category.
- Coordinate and facilitate demand planning meeting of the category as a forum to get consensus from CSP and Brand leads on one set of demand figures for business operations.
- 4. Establish and maintain effectiveness of Demand Planning Meeting.
- Ensure that demand planning policy has been strictly followed.
- Establish Channel demand forecast and ensure channel considerations are obtained for the category
- Accountable for forecast accuracy of the category and therefore is responsible for initiating activities/changes that will lead to achievement and continuous improvement of forecast accuracy.
- Responsible for Innovation Plan update upon the contract gate approval and follow-up with Innovation tracker until the post Launch Review for the category and alert the demand functions any variances and key changes in Innovation forecast
- Ensure Quarterly Long term volume plan update with assumptions to enable LT capacity enhancement decisions to take place
- Set up an effective means of communication and integration of information between Demand Planning and other related functions- Supply Planning, Brands, CSP, Finance.
- Coordinate S&OP Meetings, actively involved in Activity planning phase to ensure realistic incremental and cannibalizations built into the forecast
- Indicates exception which is generated from weekly tracking report to CSP, Supply Planning and Customer Service teams.
- Involve actively in the weekly operations meeting (WOM) to help both demand-side functions and supply-side functions to take appropriate actions to production and/or sales plan.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and forecast bias and proposes changes for improvement.
- Initiate a continuous improvement program to demand planning process.
- Ad hoc analysis of data relating to forecasting.
- Closely monitor the execution of planned promotions and ensure all the activities planned at Activity plan is included in demand plan for the category.
- Recommend appropriate changes for improvement of company demand planning process.
- Responsible for root cause analysis of CCFOT losses due to demand for the category.

Experiences & Qualifications
- Educational background: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Management
- Experience needed: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
