Your Role

This role is responsible for driving Billing & Cash Applications activities within Australasia. You will be in charge of leading the team and supporting the setting up of the team through recruiting Billing & Cash Applications Specialists across the region. This role will be reporting to the Australasia O2C Regional Hub Manager.

Your Key Tasks

  • Lead a team of Billing & Cash Applications Specialists in a high quality, efficient, effective Billing & Cash Applications unit for Australasia

  • Accountable for application of payments against invoices​

  • Accountable for investigation of unapplied cash

  • Accountable for reconciliation of customer accounts

  • Accountable for monitoring of billing exceptions

  • Accountable for resolution of billing issues

  • Accountable for reissue of bills where required

  • Accountable for ensuring bank vs G/L are aligned

  • Ensure that Billing & Cash Applications in Australasia meets all the operational and financial performance targets and obligations for Billing & Cash Applications process

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business and customer needs are being met

  • Manage recruitment of Billing & Cash Applications Specialists for Australasia

  • Support with training of new team of Australasia Billing & Cash Applications Specialists to ensure full readiness for go-live

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Business (preferably Finance and / or Economics)

  • 5 years business experience preferably in Billing and Cash Application processes

  • Experience with SAP functionalities (SAP S/4HANA experience preferred)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Action oriented to deliver results effectively

  • Excellence in line management

  • High analytical skills

  • Proven track record on improvement performance

  • Service oriented attitude

  • Able to adapt to changes quickly

  • Fluent in English language, any additional language across the region would be an additional advantage
