Assistant Finance Manager – Reporting, Digital Commerce

Business Context

Direct To Consumer [DTC] - Direct To Consumer Services is a new platform with 3 main pillars: Brand Stores, e-commerce DTC and Home Delivery. This unique business model is mainly built on acquisitions and is part of the multi-channel strategy that is expected to drive revenue growth.

Finance Operations for DTC Services are currently managed by a dedicated DTC Finance team in Foods & Refreshment Division along with various 3PSPs. Given the different business model, the activities are operated on NetSuite ERP platform instead of SAP, combined with different IT tools and interfaces with the scope of controls as AFCF. Finance operations include R2R, P2P, & O2C.

What you can expect from the role?

The Assistant Finance Manager - DTC Services will be responsible to deliver end-to-end Reporting Solution for Ice Cream Business covering all channels of digital commerce [dComm]. The role specifically includes the following:

  • Drive process standardization consistently across all countries and Business models.

  • Drive process of dComm & Reporting compliance across the globe – On Time In Full [OTIF]

  • Identify the process exceptions; define action plan to drive it to close on the exception

  • Partner with DTC business contacts to embed reporting requirements – if any, across the globe

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve operational issues in service delivery [i.e: IT / MDM / GCAD / FET etc..]

  • Focus on Continuous improvement which results in process simplification & compliance

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert and single point of contact for both DTC business teams and 3PSP

  • Partnering with IC business & dComm reporting team at different phases in delivering quality & timely reports

The successful candidate for this role will bring an ideal mix of experience across the core areas of finance operations, a deep understanding of finance processes and have an ability to implement digital transformations.

Key skills and proficiencies required for this role are:

  • Best-in-class academic and professional pedigree in business / functional management

  • Overall extensive experience in finance roles, with in-depth knowledge of these functions.

  • Strong Understanding of end-to-end business processes AND working knowledge on ERP: Net Suite

  • Deep problem-solving skill and an ability to have a clean slate approach to demystifying the problem on hand

  • Ability to network and influence cross functional teams to secure their support in resolving operational issues

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Understanding and excellent application of analytical tools – Power BI; Microsoft Excel and proficiency in using Power point would be highly desirable.
