Background & Purpose of the Job

Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Operates forklift and loading pallets of finished product from palletizer to trailers or rail cars.
Stacks pallets, arranges materials as directed and adheres to safety guidelines in performing such work.
Prepares and packs orders for shipment.
Assembles orders, checks against shipping or customer order and reports shortages and incomplete orders.
Selects appropriate shipping containers and packing material.
Operates standard manual and automatic equipment.
Stacks shipments on skids and takes shipments to shipping dock.
Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
Checks receipts against shipping order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects and reconciles.
Expedites material to proper department or storage location.
Operates crane, hoist or power truck to move materials
All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need To Succeed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years’ forklift operation experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of safety program
