Below are the broad responsibilities for the Market Solution Architect:
The Market EA will be responsible for architecture deliverables in markets and will possess domain IT expertise in market. (Work being done around DTC in SA is very niche to the geography and learnings from Europe/Americas could not be directly implemented)
The Market EA will help businesses transform and build what is next for their business — all with low cost, sustainable technology (initiatives such as Shikhar/UBP required in depth knowledge of the market, the SA team had worked with local experts from the outer core to design the solution)
Design secure, reliable, and scalable solutions which are in-line with the global EA strategy. Will partner heavily with IT Leads to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business benefits.
The Market EA will also engage with local business partners to understand and assess business requirements, prepare, and present demonstration of emerging technologies, and address/overcome technical objections that arise throughout the business process.

Partner heavily with IT Leads to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business benefits
Helps businesses transform and build what's next for their business — all with low cost, sustainable technology. Own solution and data architecture for the market
Own Market views of technology tubemaps (roadmaps). Ensuring relevant mappings into Reference Architecture tool are correct/of high data quality (as-is, destination, roadmaps, business capability mapping)
Own Market technology landscapes & data flows
Ownership of Market business process architecture diagrams including periodic review and update
Create new tech selections/approvals to ensure market contexts are considered consistently. In conjunction with EA, platform, market domain IT lead, business representatives etc.
Actual business benefits will help in decision making and leveraging solutions across markets
Ensuring that any new solution implemented has a solution design (tech and data) to ensure integration into local landscape. Would work closely with platform solution architects.Specific call out on cross platform implementations
This will help provide strategy tailor made for the markets which is also in line with the global road map

Contribution to Architecture Community - Responsibilities & Rationale
Deep knowledge of EA self-service materials and promoting within Markets
Architecture principles – championing in markets and input to curation/adaptation for market readiness
As part of a broader architecture community, ensuring deeper relationships between markets, EA and platform solution architects
This will accelerate awareness and usage within Markets and provide consolidated feedback for continuous improvement purposes
Developing joint ownership and buy-in to principles, ensuring they are market relevant
Improve mutual understanding and holistic rather than point conversations /interactions

Focusing on building superior experiences and products through- Agile Innovation Hub, a virtual hub with always-on trend spotting sizing, prototyping, and validating; Next Gen Media, real time data & analytics for media attribution to growth, and Interconnected Consumer Platforms, on engagement, trial, and commerce.
Customer Experience: HUL operates in a large complex trade environment spread across traditional trade and a growing modern trade ecosystem along with new age omni and e-Commerce channels. This ecosystem entails three key pillars: Demand Generation through e-Commerce & D2C, Demand Capture being led by our eB2B ordering app called Shikhar and Demand Fulfilment, powering faster and efficient deliveries to our distributors and retailers.
